Hedgehoppers Model Flying Club is affliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA)

The BMFA is the body responsible for all aspects of model flying in Great Britain. The BMFA has around 780 clubs affiliated to it, with a membership of over 36,000.

Our flying site is approximately two acres of well-maintained grass. We believe it is one of the best flying sites in the area. The Club caters for all types of fixed wing models including scale, sports and aerobatic with a mix of IC and electric powered models flying regularly. The Club also caters for helicopters. Full training is available following the BMFA syllabus. The club has in house BMFA instructors and examiners.
